Our Grade 1 class was visited by two Community Helpers this past week: a doctor and a lawyer!
As they are currently learning about the human body in science, Dr. Sasha Carsen, from CHEO, taught Grade 1 about the different bones in the body during his visit. There was even an opportunity to see some model bones!
As part of the grade 1 social studies learning Estate Litigation Lawyer Yasmin Vinograd visited and she spoke about the responsibilities of lawyers and how they help the community.
Todah rabah to Dr. Carsen and Ms. Vinograd for taking their time to come visit OJCS. The Grade 1 class was very engaged and appreciative!
